TRAINING & INVOLVEMENT
Students who embrace the faith are encouraged to take active roles — leading worship, conducting Bible studies, and interpreting during services. Regular training sessions equip each member to serve with confidence and depth.
IMPACT & GROWTH
Since 2013, TLOLCC has baptized 57 individuals. 38 have gone on to serve as co-workers in churches around the world. Four JHU graduates have completed seminary and now serve full-time — proof that disciples multiply disciples.
OUTREACH & INTERACTION
Airport pickups, welcome parties, grocery runs, and shopping trips — we intentionally enter the daily lives of students and scholars to build authentic relationships and open doors to the gospel.
ENGAGEMENT & HOUSING
Renovated townhouses near Johns Hopkins Medical School provide affordable housing for students and scholars. These spaces double as venues for weekly dinners, training sessions, and community gatherings — making ministry part of everyday life.

Our Sunday service begins with communal worship led by our praise band, followed by prayer, scripture reading, a sermon, and communion. Sunday school runs concurrently for all ages.

EVENTS & CONFERENCES
Every August, we invite new students from universities across Baltimore to a welcome gathering — featuring dinner, worship, icebreaker games, and gospel sharing. Last year, nearly 50 new students from five campuses joined us.
Chinese New Year gatherings, spring outings and barbecues, Mid-Autumn mooncake-making, and Thanksgiving testimony sharing — celebrating each season with warmth, community, and the gospel.
A special Christmas gathering open to seekers and students from nearby universities — featuring carol singing, personal testimonies, a gospel message, and a beloved gift exchange.
Two special gatherings through hymn singing and Scripture discussion — remembering Christ's sacrifice on Good Friday and proclaiming His resurrection with joyful song on Easter Sunday.
